21 - 21 March 2018New Israel Fund's KIO Israel, together with the Israel FA, organized a photo-shoot with the national team under the slogan kick racism out of football, and tournament for Arab and Jewish children in the Haifa area. To mark International Day for the Elimination of Racism, New Israel Fund's (NIF) KIO Israel, in partnership with the Israel FA, organized a series of events last week. To promote joint living and coexistence between Israeli Jews and Arabs, KIO Israel organized a tournament for 200 children from Arab and Jewish clubs in the Haifa. Israel FA CEO Rotem Kamer said, "The Israel FA believes strongly in an uncompromisingly combating racism as well as nurturing and promoting social involvement. There is no better example than the Israel's football teams headed by the national team for bringing together people from different communities and uniting them. I have no doubts that football will triumph over racism. On International Day for the Elimination of Racism, the Israel national team took time out from training ahead of its friendly international against Romania, to be photographed with a huge Kick Racism Out of Football banner. NIF Israel Executive Director Mickey Gitzin said, "NIF leads the campaign against racism and promotes equality and joint living in a range of areas. The Israel national team represents all parts of Israeli society and serves as an example and ideal of the ability to connect between communities regardless of race and religion."
