Biggest Far-Right Mobilisations for 30 Years

Some of the biggest far-right mobalisations for 30 years were planned in the UK following the murder of British soldier Lee Rigby. More than 50 demonstrations were planned in cities and towns across England. Anti-racism campaigners have called it the “day of hate” after monitoring a planned 55 English Defense League events alongside a BNP march (two far-right groups based in the UK) according to the Guardian newspaper online 30 May 2013.

There is a growing movement against immigration in the UK shown in the huge and unexpected successes of the UK Independence Party, a party that is in favour of tighter restrictions on UK borders and exiting the European Union.
